The title pretty much sums it up. As always, I'll still be monitoring the channel so feel free to leave comments/questions. Have a great summer!
TEAMSK - Touching up Our Fancy Cabinet Paint Job
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 года назад
Remember last year when we sanded/stripped and painted ALL those cabinets in the kitchen? After a year of being banged around on, some of mine need a little touch up. Today we are going to discuss the proper way of doing this, which is slightly more than just blobbing paint over the chips.
TEAMSK - Cleaning a Gas Lantern
Просмотров 8 тыс.2 года назад
I must be on a spring cleaning kick or something. OR I want you all to know just how intimidating it is NOT to clean some of these older items around our homes. Today we are tackling gas lanterns. The part that gets clogged is removable and cleanable!
TEAMSK - Cleaning an Oven Safely!

I guess you have figured out that today we are cleaning a VERY dirty oven! And guess what? "What?" (Thanks for playing.) We are using regular stuff you probably already have around your house to do it. 😱
TEAMSK - Changing out the TOP Sash on a Double Hung Window

Bet you never thought we were going to be finished with upholstering that chair! Me either, yet here we are! Oooooh myyyyyyyy (please read this in George Takei's voice). We finally are to the fabric phase! I've got to tell you, I really thought today would be the final video in this set, but in the interest of both keeping our steps in managable bites we will be finishing next week. Today is all about ordering enough fabric, measuring, cutting, and stapling woo hoo! 🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵🙈🙉🙊 Guess ...

Today we embark on the long, romantic saga of Chair Number 4, the heroine of our story. She has long wished for a firm seat upon which to receive human buttocks and has instead been plugging along through life with a sagging support. I need to apply the film to my office, which my cat like to watch outside, but the sun is too strong. I have watch many of Do-It-Yourself and she is one of the few who are spot-on regarding tips and tricks. I was too concern on Rookie mistakes and she and few others helped inspired me. Thanks for your video for us rookies.

Thank you. Install was much easier than I thought it was. The only difficult part was cutting off the edges on each side. You use a smaller squeegee and use a very small utility knife. If I had taken my time, I would have avoided some nicks and cuts on the edges that didn't look right. Please note, depending on what film you get, it does help somewhat to protect against heat. But it still traps it inside the window. It still helps with the excessive glare. But heat will still escape. I bought an exterior film. I bought this one BDF EXNA20, that should help with eliminating heat from even getting inside the window. I know about solar panels. But my window is only designed to have the top bottom with a window screen with a solar panel. This is a pain, but it's a work in progress.

OMG so happy I ran into you. My Sub Zero is "old" and built into my cupboards (meaning changing the frig is a major problem and expense) only the very, very expensive refrigerators meet the same measurement requirements. Following your instructions, the drain is draining (and the bottom is very clean, as per your suggestion). Instead of bleach, I used vinegar and it worked. Thank you

And do you gave a tutorial? If so, can you PLEASEEEE leave the link? I love weird yet beautiful pieces like that... The pieces you can't just walk past. Especially tbe one thats directly behind you in the beginning and the end... It looks like its got a light too... Makes it even cooler. Lol.
